Description

Poor, unfortunate "Hairless Joe", a P47, made a dramatic landing at the 7th annual EAA Little Egypt Fly-In Saturday, September 27, 2003 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. "Joe" blew a tire upon landing, causing a prop strike against the runway. The pilot was unharmed, however, "Joe" suffered hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage.
